Key Responsibilities:

Support company safety policies and foster a safety-focused culture
Aid in design and implementation of Quality Systems such as AS9100, NADCAP, and Customer requirements
Supervise technical team members on a daily basis
Develop skilled quality teams proficient in data analytics to support automation and digitalization strategies
Provide guidance and training for team members, set goals, monitor progress, and offer coaching
Implement cross-training to ensure department coverage and ongoing support
Handle initial cross-functional escalations
Oversee metrology, calibration, and mold approval programs, and lead improvement projects related to metrology equipment
Drive process and product quality enhancements in collaboration with Engineering and Operations
Engage with customers and suppliers as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred

Skills and Experience:

5+ years in an Engineering role supporting manufacturing operations
2 years of supervision experience preferred
Experience in regulated industries like aerospace, automotive, or biomedical is advantageous
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data analytics
Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and SPC software
Strong technical communication skills and familiarity with ISO standards
Project Management experience and Metrology/calibration expertise are beneficial
Prior experience with Quality Management Systems is a plus
