    Now Hiring: Licensed Journeyman Electrician at SSC
    • Location: College Station, TX
    • Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
    • Requirements: Valid driver's license, 3+ years of experience, journeyman license
    • Pay Range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

    Job Summary: The Senior Electrician/Maintenance Technician provides operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical components in a safe and efficient manner.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Updates work statuses and documents tasks completed
    • Reads blueprints and diagrams, estimates time and material costs
    • Constructs, installs, maintains and repairs electrical systems
    • Troubleshoots electrical systems and performs emergency repairs
    • Maintains logs, performs rounds, and completes tests
    • Makes recommendations for system improvements
    • Responds to emergency problems in the facility
    • Performs other assigned duties

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician
    • Working knowledge of electrical codes and blueprints
    • Journeyman Electrical License required
    • Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various conditions

    Working Conditions:

    • Exposure to heat, noise, dust, and areas requiring infection control
    • Ability to work all hours, including weekends and nights
