    Project Overview

    The Cheniere Corpus Christi Liquefaction (CCL) Project is a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) export facility located on the north shore of Corpus Christi Bay in Gregory, Texas. The 1,000+ acre facility started bulk early works in July 2015 as the first greenfield export facility in the United States. Bechtel has successfully and safely completed construction and it now consists of three operating Trains process with an LNG production capacity of approximately 15 million tons per year (MTPA), three LNG storage tanks with combined capacity of 480,000 cubic meters of LNG, 2 Jetty superstructures that can accommodate the world's largest vessels, and dozens of associated buildings and utilities.

    Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project Stage 3 (CCL3) is a new phase at the existing CCL facility and will consist of seven midscale liquefaction trains with an LNG production capacity of approximately 10 MTPA, and associated infrastructure including utilities. CCL3 will perform all this work predominantly on a direct hire basis with support from only a few specialty and service subcontractors.

    Job Summary

    This position will assist the Chief Timekeeper in maintaining Craft activity. Will be responsible for running force report and perform reconciliation of hours reported in eTrack, and balance daily timecards. Will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by Chief Timekeeper.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with Project Industrial Relations to ensure prompt input of all required payroll information for crafts (e.g., CHRIS input for new hires, terminations, rate changes, classification changes, etc.)
    • Processing new hires, i.e., badging, testing assigned badges, etc.
    • Verify daily craft attendance using Bechtel's electronic timekeeping system, eTrack.
    • Prepare and distribute any project approved daily craft time and attendance reports, (i.e., force report, attendance, infraction report, etc.)
    • Receive and record in eTrack the daily craft call-ins (late arrival, absentees, etc. as well as RTOs)
    • Assist with reassigning craft to different crews as requested by superintendents
    • Post and balance daily time records for craft payroll, resolution of discrepancies on daily time entries and cost codes
    • Assist with printing and preparation of craft weekly pay documents for distribution at the site
    • Other duties as assigned by the Lead Timekeeper or Sr. Project Accountant.

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • Requires bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
    • Must have legal right to work in US without sponsorship.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Good communication and time management skills.
    • Requires a working knowledge of electronic timekeeping systems, payroll taxes and payroll related principles, concepts, and terminology as well as basic accounting and craft payroll work processes and techniques.
    • Requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently, and to identify and resolve routine problems.
    • Must have above average computer skills.
