POSITION OVERVIEW

Being a Summer Seasonal Pool Manager involves supervising lifeguards, overseeing pool activities, and serving as a Lifeguard on duty. Providing guidance on pool procedures, safety practices, and related matters is crucial. Lifeguards play a key role in ensuring the safety of patrons, being alert and diligent at all times. Exciting opportunities for bonuses and incentives through company referrals are also available.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Head Lifeguard overseeing shifts.
Assisting in staff selection and scheduling.
Enforcing pool rules and maintaining a safe environment.
Responding to emergencies effectively, including first aid and rescues.
Maintaining certifications such as CPR and Lifeguarding.
Implementing emergency action plans as needed.
Inspecting and ensuring pool safety.
Supervising pool cleaning and maintenance.
Guiding swimmers in hazardous conditions.
Providing excellent customer service.
Performing cleaning tasks as required.
Adhering to company policies and procedures.
Reporting unsafe conditions to supervisors.
Following uniform guidelines.
Fulfilling location-specific duties as requested.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Prior lifeguard and customer service experience preferred.
Current CPR, AED, Lifeguard, and First Aid certifications.
Ability to remain calm in emergencies.
Strong communication skills. Multilingual abilities are a plus.
Flexibility to work varying shifts.
Comfort working outdoors for extended periods.
Physical capabilities including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.

WORK SCHEDULE

Flexible scheduling including weekdays, weekends, and morning/night shifts.
