Physical Therapist Position at Absolute Healthcare Resources

Job Summary

We are seeking a caring Physical Therapist to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, a welcoming personality, exceptional people skills, and the capacity to offer medical assistance to our clients in their residences.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one visits with patients at their homes
Perform initial and ongoing assessments to determine the physical, psychological, and environmental requirements of home health patients
Evaluate patients' conditions, record observations, and carry out assessment duties such as checking vital signs and reviewing medications
Administer prescribed medications as directed by the patient's physician
Educate patients and their families on appropriate home health care techniques and procedures, as well as suggest devices or tools that could enhance the patient's quality of life
Ensure clear communication with patients/clients, their families, team members, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
Hold a valid state license as a Physical Therapist
Show proof of current CPR certification
Demonstrate compassion and a friendly attitude
Possess excellent communication abilities
Have a current driver's license and access to transportation
Capable of maintaining a flexible schedule and traveling locally
