    Description

    This is a permanent full time 100% REMOTE work role. This is a Senior level DevSecOps role.


    • AWS Certifications (specifically AWS DevOps Engineer Professional and AWS Security Specialty are REQUIRED

    This is NOT a Corp to Corp role.

    Education and Experience


    •Minimum 6+ years of experience securing, operating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS (Amazon Web Services) using infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).

    Duties and Responsibilities


    •Create and manage deployment pipelines using infrastructure as code (Terraform).


    • Monitor AWS environment for performance, security, and cost issues.


    • Implement security measures, best practices, and policies in an AWS environment.


    • Ensure AWS infrastructure complies with industry-standard security and compliance frameworks, including CIS, NIST, GDPR. FEDRAMP experience is helpful but not necessary


    • Set up comprehensive security auditing, monitoring, and incident response systems in AWS using services such as Amazon GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.


    • Review security logs and respond to incidents in an AWS environment.


    • Improve developer productivity by automating processes.


    • Troubleshoot problems and collaborate with other DevOps engineers

    • Communicate proactively and clearly within team and organization.


    • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Code Pipeline and Code Build.

    • Knowledge of AWS security services and features, such as AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF), AWS Key Management Service (KMS), and AWS Security Hub.


    • Possess concise communication and interpersonal skills.


    • Experience building and maintaining SaaS applications in the cloud.


    • Knowledge of best practices for security and incident response.


    • Experience deploying microservices in a cloud environment.


    • Familiar with DataDog or other centralized logging solutions.


    • Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA).
