- Assist with installing, configuring, and testing operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Maintain system documentation (best practices, configuration, etc.).
- Communicate with vendors to obtain configurations and best practice recommendations.
- Contribute to the development of automation and processes enabling teams to deploy, manage, configure, scale and monitor their applications in data centers and in cloud.
- Assist in the coordination of various teams testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best output.
- Continuously seek performance improvements in the areas of system automation and endpoint management.
- Assist with solving complex problems by applying advanced troubleshooting techniques in Systems and Applications.
- Assist with running and maintaining a 24x7 production environment, across multiple data centers, involving thousands of computers.
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance duties for supported environments.
- Work closely with the Infrastructure Operations team as part of 24x7 support team to establish on-call schedules and collaboratively plan and execute off-hour provisioning, maintenance, and operations activities.
- Provide technical direction to IT support staff.
- Adherence to compliance and completion of compliance training.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Systems Administrator or similar technical role.
- Preferred expereince in Intune, Jamf and/or MacOS
- Must possess working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent.
- Experience deploying or managing IT services in large-scale, geographically diverse environments.
- Must possess experience with all aspects of system administration with a focus on Windows Server.
- Experience with PowerShell, LDAP, Active Directory, SharePoint, API's and troubleshooting data-flows.
- Working knowledge of Networking technologies (i.e. TCP, Load Balancing, Routing, Switching, Firewalls).
- Experience with macOS is a plus.
- Experience with MDM software (Jamf) is a plus
- Knowledge of M365 and Intune administration preferred
- Must be detail oriented and able to learn new software quickly.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, board, clients, and the public.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Summary:
The Associate System Administrator is responsible for assisting with and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of Forefront's complex computing infrastructure.
