- Anticipates the needs of the surgeon/physician by ensuring the availability of sterile instruments, supplies and equipment required during surgical/procedural interventions to maximize patient outcomes.
- Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients undergoing ambulatory surgery and other procedures including but not limited to; Colonoscopies, Ortho sports and minor trauma, Ortho hand, GYN, Laparoscopic, Plastics, Urology, General, Rectal, Podiatry, Pediatrics.
- Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology required
- 2 Years in an Ambulatory Surgery setting or hospital preferred with experience in Orthopedics, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, General, Laparoscopic, ENT, Podiatry, Urology procedures.
- Certified Surgical Tech by national accredited certification organization
