    We are currently seeking a mid to senior level

    Structural Engineer . This position is located in our Ithaca, NY office.

    Our offices in New York are comprised of over 75 professionals, working in a highly collaborative environment, focused on public buildings including K-12 schools, regional governmental facilities, and international projects for USAID and other federal agencies.

    Our overall team of professionals provides innovative architectural design, building systems engineering, interior design, site design, civil design and 3-D Imaging services, including virtual reality, to clients regionally and globally.

    Designers engage modern building methods and technologies that provide real-world solutions resulting in more efficient and sustainable projects.

    Our showcase projects include multiple assignments for New Paltz Central School District, Ithaca City School District, Red Hook Central School District, Cornell University, USAID, Millennium Challenge Corporation, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.

    Responsibilities:
    Under of guidance of a Structural Engineer, perform design of building structural systems including appropriate system concepts including: calculations, layout, sizing, selections, specifications and coordination
    Perform site visits of existing structural systems for evaluation or to inspect work in progress/completed
    Produce Structural Construction Documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD
    Review and respond to team members on project design work, RFIs, submittals, and other construction related documents and issues in a professional and timely manner

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering (or related degree) with 5-12 years of structural experience, or Associate's degree with 3-4 years of structural experience or related work experience
    Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM with working knowledge of MS Office

    Anticipated Salary Range:
    $80,000 - $100,000. Please note that this range reflects the pay scale that Tetra Tech INE reasonably expects to pay for the role. The pay scale will also depend on various factors, such as job duties and requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
