Description
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:The Communication Sciences and Disorders program (CSD) at the Penn State University-Harrisburg campus invites applications for a full-time (9-month) Associate Professor or Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders who will also serve as Program Director with a start date of August 2024.
Demonstrated experience as a Program Director, evidence of eligibility for tenure, and a sustained record of excellence in teaching, service, and scholarship are required. The CSD Program also shares a strong collaboration with the Dept. of Otolaryngology at Hershey Medical Center and the desired candidate will have a strong vision for how to best utilize this collaborative resource to its fullest.
The CSD program currently offers an undergraduate degree but has begun the process of starting an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. Thus, the new Program Director will be responsible for developing the graduate SLP curriculum, conducting faculty searches, and guiding the CSD program through the accreditation process.
