    Description

    Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technician

    Join our team as a Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal functioning and safety of our equipment. As part of our company, you will play a crucial role in conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Performing regular maintenance on motors and equipment
    • Troubleshooting and fixing breakdowns efficiently
    • Utilizing a variety of tools with care and precision
    • Providing updates and sharing ideas with the Maintenance Manager
    • Setting and achieving maintenance goals
    • Keeping detailed records and seeking clarification when needed
    • Maintaining a professional and clean work environment
    • Prioritizing safety for yourself and colleagues
    • Applying problem-solving and critical thinking skills to complete tasks effectively
    • Remaining alert to potential issues and contributing to process improvement
    • Communicating needs and suggestions for work improvement

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of industrial electrician experience or relevant education
    • Basic math and writing skills
    • Proficiency in industrial equipment maintenance
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
    • Demonstrated reliability, goal orientation, and teamwork abilities
    • Proficient in PLC troubleshooting
    • Ability to follow instructions effectively

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Preferably an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering

    Preferred Skills:

    • Detail-oriented with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
    • Clear and legible handwriting
    • Basic computer proficiency
    • Effective time management
    • Strong communication skills

    Additional Requirements: Excellent attendance record, compliance with safety guidelines, and ability to work independently with high productivity.
