    Job Summary

    The Nursing Talent Manager is tasked with attracting and efficiently recruiting qualified and skilled registered nurses, new-to-practice nurses, and nursing support staff who embody HHC's mission and values.
    In partnership with Talent Acquisition, designs and executes a recruitment strategy for nursing roles at Backus and Windham Hospitals under the guidance of Nursing leadership.
    The Nursing Talent Manager leverages expertise in modern nursing practices and care delivery systems to select suitable candidates to meet present and future staffing requirements.
    Responsibilities include managing the candidate selection process, creating screening and interview protocols, conducting applicant interviews and related correspondence, fostering relationships, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
    Qualifications

    Bachelor of Science in Nursing required

    • 5 years of acute care nursing experience
    Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a plus.
    Active Connecticut Registered Nurse license

    Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements

    Proficient in various nurse specialty practices and hospital department structures.
    Familiarity with nursing practice standards.
    Understanding of quality, safety, and other healthcare processes.
    Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Capable of analyzing data, identifying trends, and presenting findings.
    Demonstrates leadership abilities and dedication to patient care.
    Proficient in effective interview techniques (e.g., behavioral interviews).
    Can work autonomously and collaboratively.
    Adept at working with a diverse team across all organizational levels.
    Effective prioritization and ability to work well in a fast-paced setting.
    Apt at illustrating the value and impact of assigned responsibilities.
    Shows strong decision-making skills and resourcefulness in problem-solving.
    Represents HHC Nursing internally and externally.
    Consistent in displaying H3W Leadership Behaviors.
