As a Head of Data, you will lead the Data Team at Step, which is comprised of Analytics, Data Science, and Data Engineering.

You will define our data strategy, help us architect the data platform, and work with other stakeholders at the company to address their data needs, with an eye to Step's overall business goals.

Lead Analytics, Data Science and Data Engineering teams
Evolve Step's Data Platform to meet changing business requirements
Partner with various stakeholders within the business, understand their data and reporting requirements, and translate them into definitions and technical specifications
Build a Data Roadmap for the company and a hiring plan behind it. 10+ years working experience in a successful data engineering, data science or business intelligence team
Experience leading an engineering team in a technical leadership or people management capacity
Expert knowledge in data modeling concepts and implementation
Strong technical accomplishments in ML, SQL, ETLs and data analysis
Hands on experience in processing large data sets
Base pay salary range is $220,000-$250,000 and stock in early stage startup
