- Responsible for the development and implementation of the Internal Controls Management process.
- Develop and implement an internal control management process to effectively strengthen and embed environmental controls into operations.
- Performs review of monitoring plan gaps and partners with compliance leads to strengthen operations controls and reduce risk.
- Acts as a subject matter expert to provide training, documentation, and oversight to support the growth of Environmental Management System (EMS) to help develop others.
- Help organize, storyline, and create presentation materials vital for discussions with various audiences including executive leaders.
- Support cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes by providing focused support.
- Partners with EMS Element Leads to effectively lead continuous improvement for environmental performance.
- Partners with Environmental Advisors and Sr. Advisors, and business partners to fully embed internal controls into Operational Process.
- Seven years of work process, continuous improvement, or operational excellence management.
- Three years of hands on experience with work management systems (ie\\: Environmental Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, etc)
- Environmental Management System (EMS) experience
- Certified Internal Control Specialist, Professional, or Auditor
- Bachelor's or higher Degree
- PMP Certification
- ISO 14001 Certification
- Lean Six Sigma
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to analyze complex regulatory and business problems and create innovative solutions
- Proven ability to rapidly learn and assimilate complex and technical information in unfamiliar situations and be able to effectively communicate it in a non-technical manner
- This position's work mode is hybrid .\u202fThe employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.\u202fUnless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.\u202fFurther details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

Become a Control Management Advisor within the Environmental Services Department at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will join the Environmental Management System Operations team responsible for building, implementing, communicating, and maintaining SCE's environmental management system (EMS). You will work with environmental program managers and operational partners across the enterprise to build, implement and run an International Organization for Standardization (ISO aligned EMS. You'll lead cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of changes impacting the EMS and coordinate the development of material changes to environmental programs and process to ensure that the company maintains a strong environmental compliance posture. You will interact regularly with SCE senior management and executives to provide innovative strategies and recommendations for ensuring strong implementation of environmental changes to help create a culture of continuous improvement.
