- Responsible for the overall operations and services of all programs of the agency. Organizes and directs the agency's ongoing functions and day-to-day operations.
- Plans, coordinates, directs, and controls the operations of the Agency in compliance and Conditions of Participation.
- Ensures fiscal success of the agency in compliance with Board directives.
- Keeps up to date on new developments related to the Agency in regard to state and federal regulatory agencies.
- Ensures all required documentation is obtained and available pursuant to all local, state, federal and organizational guidelines.
- Assists with the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, and discipline of the sales team in accordance with the sales leadership.
- Reports monthly to the Board of Directors on sales performance and issues which need to be addressed to achieve goals.
- Interviews, hires, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines staff in accordance with company policies and procedures and state/federal regulations.
- Ensures all agency requirements are ready for billing and month end close.
- Licensed as Registered Nurse (RN) in state(s) serviced by the agency strongly preferred or Bachelor's health related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years recent Medicare certified home health and/or hospice agency experience strongly preferred.
- Training and experience in health service administration and at least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care and/or hospice or related health programs preferred.
- Previous budget and profit & loss statement management experience required.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of federal & state laws and guidelines pertaining to Medicare required.
- Proven success in revenue growth and in the development and execution of market planning.
- High level management skills including conflict management, negotiation, team building, communication, budget administration and coaching/mentoring others.
