    Duties and Responsibilities

    Administrative
    Manage training and development of dining room team
    Interview, hire, schedule and discipline dining room team & guest relations team
    Assist with managing cost control
    Work in tandem with the General Manager and Chef de Cuisine
    Contribute to our social media campaign
    Organize and monitor staff schedule
    Arrange for maintenance repairs when necessary
    Negotiate purchase prices
    Schedule beverage deliveries
    Work with the bar manager to create cocktails lists, cocktail specials, drink promotions
    Check quality of deliveries
    Ensure correct storage of supplies
    Total restaurant receipts and reconcile with sales
    Ensure cash management procedures are accurate
    Maintain business records
    Implement and oversea cost cutting measures
    Check and order supplies for non food items
    Check and order supplies for all alcohol items oversee the bar managers work performance
    Strong communication with owners

    Service
    Oversee all aspects of service, including those in the dining room, bar, and private dining rooms
    Uphold all standards of the restaurant, service, appearance, and conduct
    Develop relationships with guest
    Review upcoming reservations with the front door team to be prepared for incoming guests
    Actively participate in service
    Coordinate restaurant operations during each shift
    Monitor all health safety practices
    Ensure alcohol regulations are adhered to
    Interact with customers
    Be present at all times during service
    Advise guests on food and beverages choices
    Maintain a focus on the front door and guest relations team
    Coordinate training as needed and work with management team to develop newly hired employees
