Responsibilities

Maintain and clean the property (internally and externally)
Perform maintenance work, code work, fire alarm checks, and in-house capital improvement projects
Schedule and oversee capital improvement projects and apartment work
Manage contractors and obtain necessary approvals for external improvements
Repair appliances and boilers, conduct monthly inspections
Handle snow removal and pool supplies when needed
Build good relationships with tenants and resolve any issues promptly
Supervise maintenance staff and ensure timely completion of work orders
Recruit, train, and manage maintenance personnel
Ensure accurate submission of payroll for maintenance staff
Collaborate with the General Manager on daily operations, scheduling, and budgeting

Qualifications

High school diploma
Preferably additional education related to the field
HVAC certification
Electrical certification for commercial and residential spaces
Universal certification within one year of hire
Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
Pool operator license (if applicable)
At least two years of supervisory experience
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
