Job Description

The Order Entry Clerk will be responsible for entering orders into the company's computer system, managing accounts receivable, and working with QuickBooks, Oracle, and Excel. The Order Entry Clerk will work closely with sales representatives, customers, and other departments to ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and manage orders in the company's computer system using QuickBooks and Oracle
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of order information, including customer information, products ordered, quantities, and pricing
• Communicate with customers and sales representatives regarding order status, product availability, and delivery schedules
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation
• Generate reports and analyze data using Excel to track sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, promotions, and pricing policies
• Work with other departments, such as warehouse and logistics, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce errors

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in order entry, accounts receivable, or a related field
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in QuickBooks, Oracle, and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Italian food and wine products is a plus

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits. The Order Entry Clerk will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and overall business success.
