- Consistently performs monthly inventory management target.
- Performs inventory planning, purchasing, management and reconciliation to maintain continuity of supply.
- Create and distribute Purchase Orders (PO's) to vendors.
- Requisition and order materials and products, and assist with pricing, invoicing, tracking and processing of orders to support production.
- Identify and solve problems by conducting root cause analysis.
- Identify, recommend and assist in the implementation of cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
- Perform forecast analysis to strategically plan inventory.
- Conduct physical inventory annually.
- Adhere to the Office 6S principles.
- Participate in cross-functional efforts.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or Finance or related field required.
- One to three years of purchasing and planning experience in a lean manufacturing environment required.
- APICS Certification a plus
- Basic knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings of component parts required.
- Must be familiar with engineering change processes, bill of materials, company parts and products.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
