- Servers: Cisco, HP, Rubrik, Nutanix, Lenovo, Hot swappable
- Networking: Cisco, NetScout
- Infrastructure: RF, CodeCDU
- Monitoring: RF Code, CDU, iLO
- Documentation: Service Now queue, Incidents/Tasks, Change request/tasks, Representation on CAB for required changes
- Playbook(s): Miscellaneous tasks including coordinated outages for repairs
- Assist other teams with playbooks for tasks including coordinated outages for repairs
- Maintenance of documentation: Rack elevations, Point to point documents (P2P), Shipping Log
- Server setup: Delivery confirmation, build process, Part setup/power-on, Base configuration to allow for T2OS to configure.
- Inventory Management: Cables, Spare equipment, Miscellaneous parts
- Decommissioning of hardware: Wiping hard drive(s), Verification of power off, Removal of Hardware from a rack, Moving of Hardware as requested in decom process request, Secure Storage (Hold request), Secure Pickup, Update pickup task/sheet.
- Unbox and prepare server for racking.
- Rack server in correct location
- Running cables per the P2P
- Power on server and do any ilo/ipmi configuration necessary.
- Ensure connectivity is correct.
- Check build sheet to ensure correct name of server.
- Check rack elevation to find expected location of server.
- Rack rails for server in expected location.
- Slide server into rails.
- Check P2P to ensure it is correctly filled out.
- Measure cable lengths.
- Print Cable labels.
- Pull cables from secure storage.
- Apply labels to cables.
- Run cables following P2P.
- Verify connectivity.
- Any P1 or P2 INC
- People cannot connect to a server.
- Someone needs a physical reboot of a server.
- GCC is asked to reach out to us.
- Any Environmental failure.
