- A Configuration Management Specialist is responsible for establishing, maintaining, coordinating, and executing a Configuration Management (CM) Plan, which provides a comprehensive audit trail of changes, updates, amendments, or modifications to items, either developed or produced, including hardware, software, and documentation.
- A CM Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining an appropriate CM Review Board as well as the procedures and processes necessary for this board to be effective and responsive.
- A CM Specialist should be familiar with all contracted CM requirements and the applicable specifications and standards.
- Two years of college education from an accredited institution, or have equivalent education and experience.
- Two years of CM experience as described above.
- Experience in end-to-end mission requirements traceability and validation.
- Experience with NASA policies and procedures regarding program/project management lifecycles and systems engineering.
- Experience with database tools, requirements management and system architecture tools.
- Experience with the NASA system requirements tools such as DOORS.
- Experience with NASA Risk Management Guidelines and Processes and Tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) software tools.
- Currently hold or ability to obtain a NASA Goddard badge (NACI background investigation) is required.

McCallie Associates, Inc. is the prime contractor for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's Systems Engineering Advanced Services II (SEAS II) contract.McCallie has an immediate need for a Configuration Management Specialist with at least 2 years of configuration management experience to support on-going NASA space mission projects.
