    Job Overview

    Georgetown University's Office of Advancement's (OA) Talent Management team serves as the trusted advisor in the deployment of talent management strategies as we embark on Georgetown University's most ambitious capital campaign goal of raising $500 million per year by fiscal year 2026. The Talent Management team manages initiatives and provides thought leadership and partnership in the areas of recruiting, hiring, inclusivity, organizational design, professional and career development, onboarding, staff engagement and retention, department communications, and workforce analytics to support a safe, inclusive and high-performing culture. The Talent Management team is made up of seven partners whose roles are designed to be cross-functional generalists and who may also own specific functional aspects of Talent Management. Together, the Talent Management team plays a critical role in supporting and facilitating the personnel growth and evolution of the Office of Advancement needed to achieve fundraising goals and growth for this campaign and beyond. Across the next four years, the Office of Advancement is predicted to grow by approximately 35% by adding over 100 staff, including 20-25 development officers.

    The Talent Management Associate Partner - a key partner in providing an exceptional talent experience for staff members of the Office of Advancement - serves a critical support and program management role in OA. They support the execution of requisition management, talent reviews, performance review cycle, and initiatives and programs designed to drive engagement, retention, and professional development; and play an important role in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new OA staff.

    Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation

    Reporting to the Senior Talent Management Partner, Talent Management Associate Partner supports the overall vision of Talent Management to be a trusted advisor in the Office of Advancement on matters related to talent management, and to collaborate with other talent management partners, senior leaders, managers, and employees throughout the Office of Advancement and the University on all matters related to talent management. They also collaborate with the University HR function to ensure that Advancement talent management initiatives are aligned, and may identify other partners within Georgetown offices, faculty, and staff throughout the campus, as well as outside vendors. Other interactions may include IDEAA, Finance Partners, as well as DEI -focused (internal/external) organizations to achieve the office's DEI vision.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
    At least 2 years of related professional experience
    Demonstrated relationship-building skills (both internally and externally)
    Organization skills and strong attention to detail
    Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
    Mission-drive and service-orientation
    Demonstrated business acumen
    Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, and ambiguous environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    Additional studies or degree in human resources or business administration or similar courses in fields like industrial relations, industrial psychology, or organizational management
    Experience in higher education, fundraising/development/alumni relations, and an understanding of the nature of a university
    Proficiency with and capability to learn as regarding ATS, CRM, and web/social media platforms
    Familiarity with developing and executing training/developmental programs
    Recruiting coordination experience
    Understanding of LinkedIn & strategic sourcing tools
    Data analytics and research experience
    Knowledge of Google Suite
    Ability to present to audiences and create engaging presentations
