    About The Position:
    Oak Hill is seeking a


    Director of Education to provide leadership and support to certified, licensed, and non-certified staff in accordance with the agency's mission, vision and goals.

    This individual will ensure student development is maintained and will direct and shape the curricula and teaching processes in Oak Hill School.

    This individual will supervise staff and provide students a safe and healthy environment that is conducive to learning.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Accountable to the Education Administrator for supervising and directly monitoring certified and licensed staff.
    Ensures staff adhere to State board of Education SEED model and other relevant regulatory agencies, e.g. federal, state, local and school systems as applicable.

    Provides thorough staff observations and evaluations to maintain staff consistency in achieving day to day student educational requirements per Oak Hill School Educational/Clinical model philosophies.

    Plans and oversees the implementation of any changes to current educational programming and introduces new programs.

    Oversees and anticipates students changing needs are addressed by staff through assessing, evaluating, reviewing trends, and working with certified and licensed staff effectively in efforts to reach all students individualized educational goals.

    Co-Chair PPTs, attend and participate in committees, PDAC, chairs Transdisciplinary Team meetings/all other meetings as necessary and supervises documentation and follow-up as needed.

    Ensure Oak Hill School accreditation requirements are maintained, organizational goals and instructional programming is implemented with fidelity through effectively monitoring/supporting/developing certified, licensed, or direct care staff.

    Review all classrooms to ensure staff are working towards each student's established goals and objectives based on student's IEP; educational curriculum, medical, behavioral, and recreational activities are aligned with Oak Hill School educational philosophies and clinical model.

    Manages adequate staffing levels

    Conducts and/or oversees staff investigations for employee alleged misconduct and/or violation of policies, procedures, state, or Federal requirements as appropriate.

    Contributes to the school effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range programming objectives and/or concerns as it applies to State board of Education and other relevant regulatory agencies, e.g.

    federal, state, local and school systems as applicable.

    Identifies current and future educational requirements by establishing and maintaining a rapport with educators, parents, students, and other persons; and ensure staff continuous development.
