    Job Description

    Job Title: Buyer
    Location: Albuquerque, NM - remote work with flexibility, with occasional in-office presence

    Overview: As a Buyer at X-Bow Systems, you will play a key role in managing inventory levels and ensuring timely procurement of materials. Your responsibilities include coordinating across teams, optimizing production schedules, and upholding purchasing policies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of experience in program management.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Project and other data management systems
    • Planning, scheduling, and overseeing material flow in production cycles.
    • Providing lead times for materials to projects.
    • Collaborating with Supply Chain Managers to determine raw material quantities and order dates.
    • Creating production schedules based on orders, forecasts, and analysis.
    • Participating in vendor selection and negotiation.
    • Monitoring and resolving inventory discrepancies.
    • Forecasting raw material needs.
    • Handling any additional assigned duties.

    Requirements:

    • Managing multiple tasks and goals effectively.
    • Self-driven, organized, and able to meet deadlines independently.
    • Adaptable to company goals and able to communicate them effectively.
    • Comfortable handling confidential information.
    • Building positive work relationships.
    • Capable of managing multiple projects efficiently.
    • Proficient in using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Experience in a hybrid work setting.
    • Willingness to travel up to 15%.
