    In this position, you will collaborate with our medical team, social workers, and families to identify and address the needs of our patients, providing essential behavioral health support and therapeutic intervention. Your role will involve diagnostic assessment, evidence-based teletherapy, and working with children with severe mental illnesses.

    What You'll Do

    • Provide targeted therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents with mood disorders and mental illness via teletherapy.
    • Offer therapy to children and families, consult with schools and medical providers to ensure high-quality care.
    • Utilize evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy for treatment.
    • Treat children with various mental illnesses including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and trauma.
    • Conduct crisis assessments using validated screening tools to ensure safety.
    • Develop safety plans for patients in psychiatric emergencies.
    • Document visits thoroughly in our electronic medical records.
    • Collaborate with crisis teams and escalate patients to emergency resources when needed.
    • Conduct psychosocial assessments and follow-up care for hospitalization programs.
    • Regularly meet with behavioral health managers for case discussions and planning.
    • Work collectively with crisis team members on care coordination.

    What You Bring and How you Qualify:

    If you are passionate about transforming pediatric healthcare and providing a safe environment for children, then you're the ideal candidate for this role.

    • Hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field.
    • Must be licensed to practice independently in Texas and/or Florida (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC) with potential for cross-state licensure.
    • 1-2 years of post-licensure experience in behavioral health.
    • Experience working with children, adolescents, and caregivers in various systems.
    • Training in cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.
    • Comfortable with high-risk behavioral health populations.
    • Skilled in conducting triage assessments and crisis interventions.
    • Proficient in electronic medical record documentation.
    • Experience with diverse populations and telehealth.
    • Strong communication, diagnostic, and technical skills.
    • Ability to work approximately 20 hours a week with evening availability.
    • Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish.
    • Position is fully remote with occasional travel for training.
