    Job Description

    As a team member, provide software development support and expertise to deliver a high-level of operational excellence in the day-to-day operations for the unclassified and classified Programs in Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) hosted environments.

    Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. May supervise others.
    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Analyzes and defines security requirements for multilevel security (MLS) systems
    • Design, develops, engineers, and integrates solutions to MLS requirements
    • Conducts security audits
    • Generates system-level security documentation
    • Supports the development of System Operation Procedure documents
    • Applies knowledge of IT Governance requirements, risk mitigation strategies, and encryption and decryption capabilities to establish secure solutions
    • Performs risk analysis, including risk assessment processes and procedures
    • Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customers' requirements.
    • Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
    • Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet security requirements.
    • Provides integration and implementation of the computer system security solution.
    • Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems.
    • Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.
    Education & Experience

    • 3-7 years of relevant experience

    Desired Experience:

    • Demonstrated familiarity with Subversion, and Jira
    • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of the following concepts:
    o Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS)

    o Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

    o Domain Name System (DNS)

    o IP networking

    o Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
    Certifications

    • CompTIA Security Plus-CE certification, or higher.
    Security Clearance

    • Candidate must have a Secret Clearance.
    Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)

    • Primarily Work from Home, with potential to attend occasional meetings at Fort Meade, MD.
