    In this role, you will...
    • Manage a book of Physicians & Surgeons business to maintain and enhance strong client and distribution partner relationships and to enhance retention and strong new business flow.
    • Underwrite and analyze large complex physician group risks and offer appropriate underwriting solutions for clients with a focus on profitability as determined by the company.
    • Meet and exceed client expectations by providing appropriate pricing and structure based on utilizing all information; all within a timely turn around period.
    • Engage and maintain excellent communication with internal team members and meet and deliver the MedPro Group standards of obsessive client focus to each of our clients.
    • Understand and execute on key underwriting role in regional and/or state specific market strategies including assistance in development of a marketing plan for such region or state.
    • Analyze risk to include but not limited to coverage evaluation, terms and conditions of offer to determine appropriate structure and pricing.
    • Work within authority and understand escalation requirements within the company.
    • Travel to increase underwriting front lines sales focus to address concern, need, and identify opportunities for new business growth and retention of existing business.
    • Establish and maintain excellent communication with internal team members. This shall include partnering with sales, actuarial, claims, finance, PS & RM and the specialty team to identify opportunities and strategies to maintain profitability and increase new business writings and retain existing customers.

    We are looking for candidates with...
    • BA/BS or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 5-10 years' experience underwriting physician exposures.
    • Extensive experience with large physician, ancillary providers and special programs which require unique rating techniques and policy language modifications.
    • Extensive and long term successful Distribution Partner relationships, both regionally and nationally.
    • Ability to consistently demonstrate timely and appropriate account management while achieving compliance requirements.
    • RPLU, CPCU or IIA designation (preferred).
    • Strong internal and external communication, analytical, negotiation and organizational skills.
    • Strong PC Skills.
