    Job Type Description
    The successful applicant will teach chemistry in grades 9-12, and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Salary Schedule
    In accordance with Berkeley County Schools' Teachers Payscale with verified years of experience and degree level. 200-day employment term.


    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy.


    West Virginia teacher certification in chemistry, physics, or chemistry/physics.

    If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position, then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit, alternative certification, Teacher-in-Residence, or a perm sub can be considered.
