Pay Range:
$43.00 per hour

Job Summary:

Sprinkler Installation Technicians are responsible for fitting fire sprinkler systems in various buildings.

They play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of fire suppression systems, safeguarding people and property.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform installations of different fire sprinkler systems according to codes and specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine the layout of sprinkler systems.
• Communicate field changes and project updates to supervision.
• Cut, thread, and connect pipes accurately.
• Install valves, risers, and other system components.
• Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow.
• Coordinate with engineers and contractors for project schedules and troubleshooting.
• Maintain installation records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Stay informed on industry standards and new technologies.
• Adhere to safety protocols for a secure working environment.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications


Education, Licensure & Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• NICET Level 1 Certification preferred.
• CalFire Certified Fitter Card.

Experience:

• 5 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Capabilities:

• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the industry.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and NFPA code.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
