The Boiler Tech is responsible for completing preventative maintenance and repairs in the Pickle Line, Water Treatment Plant, Boiler Room and Roll Shop.

• Completes preventative maintenance in the Pickle Line, Water Treatment Plant, Boiler Room and Roll Shop
• Responsible for maintaining oil, water and fan systems, drippers, and lines
• Performs preventative maintenance on oil, water and fan systems
• Changes, maintains and rebuilds grease, oil and water pumps
• Performs necessary welding, pipefitting, burning, and hydraulics
• Troubleshoots and fixes maintenance problems
• Works with cranes forklifts and Mill machinery
• Assists electricians as required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience or education required
• Ability to use a cutting torch, fit pipes and weld
• Knowledge of fans as well as oil, water and grease pumps
• Must be able to pass company administered maintenance proficiency tests
• Must be available to work alternating 8 (eight) hour shifts and overtime as required
