- Provide customer service to families of young children seeking information and opportunities to meet child and family needs.
- Provides daily support to customers and staff by managing walk-in visitors, responding to phone and website inquiries as needed.
- Meets with families to conduct a needs assessment and provides information, resources and referrals.
- Develop expertise knowledge of a variety of community resources including related eligibility requirements for early education and human services programs.
- Assist families with completing the Child Care Works application and coordinate schedules for face to Face application interviews for Head Start/Early Head Start/Pre-K Counts.
- Document work and maintain accurate records utilizing appropriate databases and/or electronic file systems.
- Provide translation and interpretation services as needed and assigned.
- Provides back-up support to front desk Facilities Operations Support Specialist to cover lunches, vacation, and other times as needed.
- Completes special projects and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- High School Diploma/GED; Associates Degree in Social Service, Business or Computer Science preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Two years related customer service experience
- Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office programs.
- Proficient with using databases, software, record tracking systems
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with individuals of varying economic, educational and cultural backgrounds
- Valid driver's license, full time use of vehicle
- Hours: Monday through Friday; 8:30am to 5:00pm

Work Environment:
