    Overview


    Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Retail Sales Representative located in Miami FL or Fort Lauderdale FL.

    In this position, you would be a key part of our sales team calling on Retail customers.

    This key position requires a dedicated person to work with all levels of our retail customer's regional field operations teams, strengthening the relationships, and optimizing sales and profits for Lutron and our customers.


    Training is availableand will offer a comprehensive introduction to Lutron culture and customers as well as Lutron's consumer product families.

    Responsibilities

    Use excellent communication skills to build lasting strong relationships with Home Improvement and Consumer Electronics retailers regionally and at the district and store management level
    Support and work closely with Sales Operations, Regional and District Service influencers
    Train and oversee service providers and store associates to be Lutron product experts
    Coordinate and execute sales initiatives while identifying new business opportunities for cross merchandising and product visibility
    Develop and execute sales programs and new product launches
    Ability to work independently; plan and organize your time effectively to maximize time spent with customers while supporting Lutron's Retail Sales team initiatives

    Qualifications

    1 to 4 years of professional experience and Bachelor's degree required OR greater than 5 years of professional experience and high school diploma required
    Ability to travel at least 50% of the time throughout the state of Florida
    Personal vehicle and Driver's License required
    Must be located near Miami FL or Fort Lauderdale FL
    Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
