    Details

    • Sign-on bonus: $8,000.00
    • Department: Emergency
    • Schedule: Full Time Evenings - 36 hours per week. Three 12 hour shifts per week from 11:00AM to 11:30PM. This will include rotating every other weekend and holiday.
    • Hospital: Ascension St. Francis Hospital
    • Location: Milwaukee, WI

    Responsibilities

    Provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency services area in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

    • Triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity level and available resources.
    • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
    • Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as
      appropriate.
    • Work collaboratively with other disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
    • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

    Requirements

    Licensure/Certification/Registration:

    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
    • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job
      transfer date required.

    Education:

    • Graduate of a board-approved Registered Nurse Program required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

    Work Experience:

    • RN with 18 months or more experience preferred.

    Additional Preferences

    • Candidates willing to obtain their ACLS and PALS within 6 months of employment are preferred.

    Candidates that live 60+ miles from this location may qualify for a relocation bonus.
