Overview:

Service Managers at Sequoia inspire team members to be their best self every day.

You are an organized and efficient planner. You are skilled in diagnosing and solving maintenance issues and love to share your passion for fixing things. You enjoy rolling your sleeves up and working alongside your team.

In this position, you will be tasked with:

Expert in troubleshooting, often times taking on the most complex work orders
Manage a budget and minimize expenses, doing things in house where feasible
Ensure quality work of self and team in turning an apartment or completing a service request
Manage make ready units and communicate with Community Manager on status
Focused on asset preservation, including timely incident reporting
Leads a team of two Service Technicians
Participates in on call rotation with Service Team

Qualifications:

Must haves:

Prior management experience
Prior multi family housing maintenance experience or similar
Desire to lead
Superior knowledge of home maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and painting.
On call availability
Positive attitude
Organization
Sense of urgency
Sense of humor

Great to haves:

General contractor, journeyman, electrician, HVAC, or other skilled trade
Knowledge of property management and maintenance operations software such as Yardi
Maintenance certification such as EPA or CPO (if you dont have it, well help you get it)
Renovations or construction experience

Compensation:

The compensation range for this role is $ $39.00 / hour plus quarterly bonuses.
