Description
Contract Specialist, SeniorAnalyze the development of a contracts acquisition plan, define requirements for solicitation, review the development of draft documentation supporting solicitations, and provide oversight for the surveillance of contracts.
Monitor awarded vendors performance for conformance to contract terms and conditions. Act as a supporting advisor to the contracts management SME by leveraging expert knowledge of acquisition policies and regulations. Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with contracts or subcontracts in the industry or working as a contracting officer in the federal government, or 9+ years of experience with contracts or subcontracts in the industry or working as a contracting officer in the federal government in lieu of a degree
Experience with the evaluation of technical and cost proposals, and techniques of cost analysis
Experience with broad agency announcements and the formation and administration of different government contract types
Knowledge of grants, other transactions, and cooperative agreements
Ability to be self-directed and work under minimal supervision

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.Our people-first culture prioritizes the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely.
