Level Descriptions:

Level I - Requires supervision to accomplish tasks effectively and ensure proper communication.
Level II - Demonstrates consistent achievement and provides guidance to Level I positions.
Senior - Possesses advanced expertise in technical control systems programming and HVAC strategies.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop controls database, graphics, programming, etc. based on provided sequences and project specifications.
Oversee system start-up and commissioning, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
Provide on-site support to installation personnel and other contractors.
Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure efficient system operation.
Assist in project estimation, design, installation, and training processes.
Document start-up procedures and maintain software backups.
Offer service support for existing installations and systems.
Complete necessary paperwork and assist in project turnover processes.
Travel to job sites for project completion and support when required.
Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma and technical degree in HVAC or Electronics-related studies preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in building controls or related field.
Proficiency in programming, controls database management, and troubleshooting electrical circuitry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of AC power circuitry and electronic testing equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience with Distech, Alerton, or Tridium controls systems.
In-depth understanding of HVAC operations in facilities.
Proven ability to troubleshoot installation issues and provide service support.
Willingness to travel for on-site support and project completion.

Essential Job Functions:

Ability to lift and carry ladders, equipment, and materials.
Capability to lift up to 50lbs and spend time standing and walking on construction sites.
Comfort with climbing stairs/ladders and performing physical tasks on-site.
Satisfactory driving record and physical agility for fieldwork.
