    A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright

    • Maintains performance management tools to drive crew productivity, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction; track monthly scorecard results and develop performance improvement initiatives; provide timely, consistent, and accurate feedback regarding performance and recognize employees who demonstrate exemplary performance; and spearhead initiatives to drive performance improvement.
    • Supervises a team of 2 Analysts; Supports work order coordination and scheduling procedures at a high-level; project and manage workload three weeks into the future and beyond by assigning work to crews, overseeing long-term schedule for balance and overall date compliance with the goal of optimizing crew productivity.
    • Supervises 1 Prefab General Foreman; who is engaged in the preparation of material for multiple projects and district Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.
    • Establishes and maintains high standards of excellence, communicating frequently and openly, engaging others in the solution of performance management problems and responding professionally to personnel requirements.
    • Creates and maintains a safety conscious work environment by leading and influencing others to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.

    Qualifications

    The essentials

    • Four or more years combined experience performing and/or supervising activities related to the design, analyzing metrics, construction, and maintenance, and/or scheduling activities associated with the electric system.

    The preferred

    • Five or more years combined experience in electrical construction, planning, inspection, or coordination.
    • Experience with Initiate, Plan, Schedule, Execute, and Close (IPSEC) model and/or scheduling procedures.
    • Overseeing and assessing performance metrics and other performance-related data sources.
    • Managing or overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
    • Experience using ClickSchedule software and procedures.
    • Knowledge of district Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.
    • Application of the IBEW collective bargaining agreement and handling labor relations issues.
    • Previous experience as Operations Supervisor, Planning Manager, Project Manager, and/or RSS Supervisor.
    • Bachelor's Degree.
