    We are excited to present to you an exceptional opportunity at Salem Media - Columbus, where we are currently looking for a Media Strategist / Account Executive to join our dynamic team. As a sales professional, you will be responsible for driving our on-air and digital sales targets to new heights. Your main focus will be on selling and overseeing our diverse multi-media marketing solutions which encompass radio, digital, and event sales primarily catered to local small and medium-sized businesses.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify and engage with local and regional businesses, engage decision-makers, conduct needs assessments, and craft compelling advertising pitches that align with client goals.
    • Stay abreast of local digital marketing trends and opportunities to ensure relevancy and competitiveness.
    • Develop and deliver strategic marketing proposals tailored to key accounts and prospective clients.
    • Accurately forecast revenues, consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets across all product lines, and surpass annual budget expectations.

    Qualifications:

    • A proven track record of surpassing sales projections in on-air and online media platforms.
    • Demonstrated expertise in digital products and their market positioning and sales strategies.
    • Successful experience in selling various digital marketing solutions such as SEM, SEO, Target Display, OTT/CTV, social media, Email Marketing, Chat, and Website Development.
    • Ability to conduct comprehensive needs analyses for clients, offer customized solutions, and provide data-driven insights to substantiate sales.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to present complex solutions effectively.
    • Proven experience in formulating tailored marketing strategies for local and regional clients.
    • Maintain a polished and professional demeanor when representing the company.
    • Skilled at collaborating with a diverse clientele and understanding their unique business needs.
