    Responsibilities


    The Central Transportation Dispatcher is responsible for the safe and timely transfer and transport of patients, equipment and other materials throughout the health center. The Dispatcher has significant interaction with associates from several departments, with physicians and with patients and visitors for the purpose of providing excellent care and customer service in support of the mission and values of the facility.

    Qualifications


    Education and Work Experience

    1. High school diploma or equivalent required

    2. One year of customer service-based employment, preferably in a healthcare setting, preferred

    3. BCLS within 30 days of hire and maintained current

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $18.32 to $22.87. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
