    Overview:


    The Senior Pipe and Valve Enginner is a professional employee reviews pipe and piping component related calculations and material evaluations.


    Responsibilities:


    Prepare and coordinate piping and valve specifications and/or material requisitions, bid evaluations and award recommendations and perform detailed supplier bid technical evaluations and supplier document reviews.

    Candidate should have past experience with ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry piping codes and standards.



    Qualifications:

    US Citizenship is required.

    BS degree with 9 years of related experience.

    Good knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards.

    Experience in generating and executing material requisitions.

    Preferred

    Qualifications:

    PE Registration.

    Previous Bechtel project experience.

    Previous DOD/DOE project experience.

    Experience with PipeWorks, TeamWorks and Bechtel Procurement System (BPS) and Non-conformance reporting tools (NCR).

    Work Environment/Physical Demands:
    Physical Demands

    Field engineers lift and move materials weighing up to 60 pounds.

    They must possess specific vision abilities in order to remain safe at all times, including a good close-, distance-, and peripheral vision.

    Good stamina and balance are absolutely essential.

    Work Environment

    May frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions. The work environment usually has a moderate to loud noise level. The responsibilities of the position include compliance with company and governmental safety, environmental and hazardous materials regulations, and procedures.
