    Patient Care Caller

    Are you an organized, adaptable, and experienced communicator ready to make a difference in patient care? Join our team across five practices in Brooklyn and Queens as a Patient Care Caller. While this role is remote, candidates must be based in New York and willing to travel to Canarsie Cosmetic Family Dental, if necessary.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reach out to patients via phone calls to follow up on their recent medical appointments or treatments.
    • Listen attentively to patients' concerns, questions, and feedback regarding their care experience.
    • Provide empathetic and knowledgeable responses to address patients' inquiries or escalate issues to appropriate personnel for resolution.
    • Accurately and thoroughly document all interactions with patients in our database or electronic medical records system.
    • Ensure compliance with all patient privacy and confidentiality regulations (e.g., HIPAA) during interactions.
    • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on healthcare procedures, policies, and best practices.
    • Maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare or customer service is a plus.
    • Proven experience in a customer service or patient care role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conveying empathy and professionalism over the phone.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
    • Detail-oriented and organized, with multitasking and prioritization abilities.
    • Proficiency in using computers and electronic medical records systems; familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
    • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging or emotional situations.
    • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
    • Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs.

    Salary: $30,000-300,000
