    About the Position



    Lead Software Engineer



    As a Lead Software Engineer at Honeywell, you will be a key player in developing features for the Unisim Design (USD) process model simulation software. Your expertise in software development and simulation will contribute significantly to enhancing our software solutions.


    In this role, you will work in collaboration with global teams, gathering requirements, designing software solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Your technical skills and leadership qualities will be crucial in driving successful software development projects.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and design software solutions for the Unisim Design process model simulation software.
    • Develop innovative features to enhance software performance and usability.
    • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
    • Participate in Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior software engineers.
    • Stay updated on industry trends to drive improvement in software development processes.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
    • 8+ years of experience in software development, focusing on simulation software.
    • Proficiency in C++, C#, VB.Net, and Python.
    • Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
    • Experience with simulation software development and modeling.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
    • Experience with process model simulation software.
    • Knowledge of process engineering and industrial automation.
    • Problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
    • Experience in Agile software methodology.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Experience in UI modernization and integrating 3rd party tools with applications.
    • Experience with various process models.
