ICU experienced RNs with BSN are highly preferred but not required. Benefit from an 18% night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential. POSITION SUMMARY
This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in alignment with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the quality of nursing services provided by themselves or those under their supervision. The position requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data, plan care, and deliver services suitable for the patients' physical and developmental stage.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Interact with various staff levels across departments, physicians, patients, families, and external contacts concerning patient care. Collaborate with healthcare providers in different settings, communicate patient status accurately, and provide spiritual support as needed. Prioritize data to support patient and family responses to health changes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Hold a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS certification is mandatory, with additional certifications or ongoing education requirements depending on the practice area. Experience in the relevant clinical setting is preferred, and clinical competencies must be maintained through annual validations.
In a Home Health setting, team members should be able to drive a personal vehicle with a valid driver's license and active auto insurance coverage. Employees at specific Banner facilities must possess the respective state clearance card as per regulatory requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with professional certification. Additional related education and experience are advantageous.
