    Description
    Job Description:
    • As a Perinatal Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-risk diagnostic obstetrical sonographic examinations using ultrasonic equipment.
    • Tasks include locating, evaluating, and recording critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data, as well as assisting with specialty procedures.
    • Scheduling and coordinating tests, recording results, and maintaining operational logs.


    Responsibilities:
    • Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations following AIUM protocols.
    • Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify and adapt procedures for anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic information.
    • Analyze and communicate findings accurately to clinicians.
    • Work independently, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
    • Assist with sonographic laboratory operations and maintain equipment and supplies.
    • Assist Perinatologist in procedures and provide diagnostic aid through supporting Sonography scans.
    • Conduct ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures and prepare preliminary reports.


    Requirements:
    • Minimum three years of experience in obstetric ultrasound.
    • Graduate of an approved Ultrasonography Program.
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Various certifications including Nuchal Translucency, Fetal Echocardiography, and Basic Life Support.


    Additional Skills:
    • Basic PC skills are required.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Minimum of three years of experience in Ultrasonography.
    • Demonstrated customer service aptitude preferred.


    Notes:
    • Travel to hospitals for ultrasound scans is required.
