    St.

    Joseph Catholic School, an Early Childhood - 8th Grade Diocesan School, located in West Tampa seeks an Social Worker for the school year.

    Candidates for this full-time position should support the mission of Catholic Education.

    A Bachelors degree is preferred and potential candidates must hold a valid Florida Teaching Certificate or be eligible for Florida Certification in Elementary Education or related field.

    Bilingual English/Spanish competency is helpful.
    The ideal candidate will have


    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • A love a Catholic education and teaching.
    • Experience using UBD lesson plans, technology in the classroom, Smart Boards, computers, and iPads.
    • Experience with working with students with special needs.
    This position requires a Level II background check and mandated trainings.
