    As a key member in the Advanced Analytics team, the Data Analyst will work with members of the team as well as partner with the business.

    This role with learn and understand the business challenges and process, enabling them to design and develop solutions that drive decision making with data.

    Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and passion for research will be an essential part of this role.


    YOUR IMPACT
    These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

    Acquire business understanding needed to conduct analysis through collaboration with business experts, external partners, and research.
    Identify problems requiring advanced analytical techniques to solve and develop hypotheses on how to solve them.
    Use business and data understanding to select appropriate modeling techniques for the situation.
    Acquire, filter and prep data from a variety of sources to support the analysis.

    Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using a variety of techniques to meet business needs.

    Prepare and concisely deliver analysis results in visual and written forms that communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Recognize valuable problems requiring advanced analytical techniques to solve and help develop and investigate research strategies towards industrial solutions.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a relevant field.
    Three (3) or more years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or a related area.

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

    Aptitude for working in a fast-paced collaborative team environment with proven experience as a self-starter and problem-solver.
    Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to sell use cases and research results.

    Standout Qualifications

    Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical or modeling packages for analyzing datasets
    Technical expertise regarding data models, database design, data mining and segmentation techniques
    Understand the general concepts of statistics, data mining, machine learning, data visualization, information retrieval, artificial intelligence, and computer vision.
    Familiarity with Data Bricks
    Experience with Cloud Data Lake and Power BI
    Prior experience in industrial and/or manufacturing environments desired.
