    Position: MotorClothes/General Merchandise Support

    Department: MotorClothes/Merchandise

    Manager: MotorClothes/Merchandise Manager

    Overview

    Ensuring smooth operations within the MotorClothes/Merchandise Department by handling transactions efficiently and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance departmental and company success.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide outstanding customer service to all dealership's customers.
    • Offer immediate and friendly greetings to customers.
    • Efficiently process transactions at the register.
    • Maintain necessary paperwork.
    • Ensure a welcoming and knowledgeable customer experience.
    • Follow company cash handling procedures.
    • Manage customer database accurately.
    • Inspect price tags for accuracy.
    • Implement credit card verification procedures.
    • Monitor for security compliance.
    • Keep cashiering area tidy and stocked.
    • Maintain clean, organized sales floor and displays.
    • Stock and arrange merchandise attractively.
    • Assist in directing calls and inquiries.
    • Handle telephone transactions efficiently.
    • Inform customers about special orders or backordered items.
    • Facilitate cross-selling opportunities.
    • Receive, log, and prepare merchandise for display.
    • Participate in inventory processes.
    • Support in organizing special events.
    • Complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
    • Adhere to company policies.
    • Undertake other assigned duties.

    Requirements

    • Experience in retail sales and cash handling.
    • Outgoing, energetic personality.
    • Self-motivated and helpful attitude.
    • Preferable familiarity with Harley-Davidson MotorClothes/Merchandise.
    • Proficiency in Point-of-Sale systems or willingness to learn.
    • Dedication to delivering exceptional service.

    Physical Demands

    • Manual dexterity is essential.
    • Occasional heavy lifting and bending required.
    • Prolonged standing and walking.

    Working Environment

    • Mainly indoor setting with occasional outdoor tasks.
    • Noisy environment with exposure to exhaust fumes at times.
    • Must be alert and attentive throughout the shift.
