- Provides high-level support of computers, printers, applications, network, mobile devices, and user accounts
- Maintains, analyzes, and repairs hardware/software/network technology at Hy-Vee facilities
- Analyzes, documents, and escalates calls as appropriate
- Perform overnight/weekend and on-call support when scheduled
- Perform onsite visits for installations and troubleshooting
- Identifies common problems and suggests solutions
- Reports to work when scheduled and on time

- Must be able to perform arithmetic, algebraic, and geometric calculations
- Must be able to compose or edit original correspondence; follow technical manuals; evaluate technical data; interview to obtain basic information; and have increased contact with people.
- Must be able to physically perform light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally,10 pounds of force frequently and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- Visual requirements include clarity of vision at distance of less than 20 inches and up to 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, and color vision
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, fingering, talking, and hearing
- Must be comfortable working in a variety of conditions - indoors/outdoors, refrigerated/ambient spaces when required.
- Demonstrable ability to correlate business functions to hardware and software needs
- Demonstrate an aptitude to learn technical components of software and infrastructure
- Proficient with issue tracking and workflow software
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year or more of additional schooling with emphasis in computer technology/science is beneficial
- Similar support or practical experience with applications/systems in related field are highly beneficial
