    FS Tax Compliance

    Performs professional accounting activities for the Arizona State University Tax Department.

    As part of the duties there will be varied and complex tax calculations and reviews related to multiple tax and accounting functions.

    Requires the ability to be detail orientated, flexible, and provide a high caliber of service to multiple departments, employees and others related to the university.


    A successful candidate, not presently employed within Financial Services, will be paid a signing bonus of $750 and a $1,250 bonus after completing six months of employment with the department.


    Duties will include:

    daily transactional analysis for accuracy and appropriate tax and accounting treatment, worker classification review and consulting, sales and use tax review and guidance, 1099 reporting, payments to foreign national compliance, and additional compliance as assigned.

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field AND two (2) years of professional accounting experience; OR, six (6) years professional accounting experience; Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, practices, principles and procedures.

    Experience in the use of computer hardware and software.

    Work in an office setting and use office equipment.
    Sit or stand for extended periods of time, travel moderate distances to perform work.
