Job Summary:

As a Parts Counterperson at Boardwalk Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram or Boardwalk Chevrolet in Redwood City, California, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients.

This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry where you will be an individual contributor.

Your main responsibility will be assisting customers with their parts needs, providing prompt and accurate information, and helping to maintain a clean and organized parts department.

This role offers a competitive compensation of $22 to $25 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries regarding parts
• Look up parts and provide accurate pricing and availability information
• Process parts orders and assist with inventory management
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department
• Crosssell and upsell additional parts to customers as appropriate
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
• Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on industry changes
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
• Other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in the automotive industry or customer service field preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
